Hebrew Word of the Day: קִינָמוֹן (kinamon) – cinnamon. הַקִּינָמוֹן מוּשְׁתַמֵּשׁ בְּמַתְּכּוֹת מְתוּקוֹת (ha-kinamon mushtamesh be-matkot metukot). Cinnamon is used in sweet recipes. Cinnamon was used in ancient Israel as part of the Temple incense blend and is mentioned in the Song of Songs.
